The Force is getting it’s feet wet in their quest for winning the RedBull Youth America’s Cup this September. During the International Trials the team is making sure the AC45 catamarans are in top shape for the competitors – which also includes test sails on the boats. (Feb 2013)

Six youth sailing teams arrived at Pier 80 and climbed onboard an AC45 for the first time during the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup team selection trials. After vigorous two-day training sessions, including sailing on the San Francisco Bay, two teams earned spots in the main event in September – Team America Racing, representing the USA, and American Youth Sailing Force, representing San Francisco. The American Youth Sailing Force volunteered their time at the America’s Cup World Series in San Francisco this August. It gave the guys an opportunity to see behind the scenes at an America’s Cup regatta and to get up close to the AC45’s and the people connected to the campaigns. (September, 2012)
